Hello. Como estan todos? I hope that you are doing well this Christmas season. A few of you mentioned that you went to the devotional. It was really good. I really liked it. I think my favorite quote was to forget ourselves and focus on others, like Jesus would do.
I got my new companion. His name is Elder Lira. He is from Nicaragua. He is pretty cool. He is definitely here to work. He finishes his mission in February. I sure hope that I don't have to be his last companion too and "kill him." Because that wasn't my favorite thing to do last change. But he likes basketball. He's a balla. He speaks English too. We get along pretty good. He was in Mezapa as well so we have quite a bit in common.
We have 2 baptisms this week. The members have really put their arms around them and welcomed them into the church. Before we got there, they were prepared. And he talked about how he felt a spirit very strongly when we taught him. He said that he has never felt so sure about something ever in his life. He's going to get married and baptized this week because there is a member here who knows a lawyer who will do the favor for us and get them married in one week instead of going through the painful paperwork.
We also continue working with one family. They are really cool and went to church last week. The dad, polo, said that he really liked how everyone participated. In other churches, there's just one pastor. He liked how there was unity.
The weather has been a bit chill lately. People here are putting out lights and trees. It's a LOT more simpler. But they do put out their decorations. We're going to have a talent show and watch a Christmas video that all the zones made for Christmas.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
